06/22/25 | The Rehm Copy Newsletter I've been auditing a lot of Klaviyo accounts lately and I'm seeing the same mistakes over and over again… So today I'm just going to tell you each of the ones that are top of mind for me so you can avoid these in your emails. These are not high level mindset changes either -- they are real tangible changes you can make right away. Mistake 1: Category headers at the top of emails Those little navigation menus distract from your actual message. Move them to the footer instead. Mistake 2: Weak footers Use what we call a "primary tab footer" - logo, social icons, categories, and a big text block. This boosts clicks from people who scroll down and helps deliverability. Mistake 3: Uncompressed images Go to iloveimg.com and compress every image before uploading. Spam filters check your text-to-image ratio, and heavy images hurt your deliverability. Mistake 4: Only sending designed emails Plain text emails usually make more money than fancy designs. They're more personal and deliver better. Unless you're selling visual products like clothing, plain text often wins. Mistake 5: Tiny, hidden buttons I just audited a client whose buttons were practically invisible. Make your call-to-action buttons big, bold, and impossible to miss. Mistake 6: Outdated, unprofessional design Your emails shouldn't look like they're from 2004. Poor design makes people question your credibility and authority. You have access to AI and professional designers now. There's no excuse for amateur-looking emails. Adam

06/23/25 | The Rehm Copy Newsletter Short one today, but it's on my mind and I think it's important. Everyone's always looking for the next "unique mechanism" or some crazy new marketing strategy. But marketing really comes down to just a few core things: running ads, creating good pages to send traffic to, sending emails and texts to your list, and maybe some content creation or partnerships. That's it. There's not a whole lot of uniqueness outside of just doing these basics really well. For...
06/21/25 | The Rehm Copy Newsletter Most brands are throw money away when it comes to email marketing. They’ll spend $50K on paid ads creative testing, but send the same boring newsletter template for months without a second thought… Not even realizing that all of their past customers are seeing each and every one of those. Here’s what I see when I audit email marketing strategies: Generic stock photos that could be for any brand Walls of text with zero visual hierarchy CTAs that blend into...
06/19/25 | The Rehm Copy Newsletter I just read this 5-page sales letter eight times: And there’s one CRUCIAL element that the writer of this sales letter used to promote the product… And it led to this becoming a long-standing control in the golf niche. (In case you don’t know, that means it ran for a long time and made a ton of cash.) This single element has an unreal ability to: Clearly present information using “bite-sized” chunks so that readers fully understand what’s being sold Grab...
